Alzheimer’s Association Reaching Out to Hispanic Community
Thursday, April 29th, 2010The Alzheimer’s Association Southeast Florida Chapter and the National Alzheimer’s Association Chapter are working together to interview and film Spanish-speaking caregivers and persons with Alzheimer’s of Cuban or Puerto Rican descent. They are looking for these specific nationalities, as other chapters across the nation have also participated to involve Spanish-speakers of different nationalities. The project will be a filmed interview in Spanish discussing each person’s experience with the disease.
