SpecialMUSE.com inspires those with special needs
Published August 11th, 2009
Products and services used by those with special needs require lots of time, money, and planning to acquire. SpecialMUSE.com’s new website and local personnel assist both individuals and companies direct advertising of their benefits by providing online advertising based on what is available by local community, helping those with special needs find what they need in their neighborhood in a shorter period, with less travel or shipping, which adds to the costs of products and services they need. SpecialMUSE.com’s services are used when an individual with special needs is looking for a more local source for a product or service, and when a local vendor or provider is seeking to increase their local business and assist those with special needs.
SpecialMUSE.com, created by Robert Stoops, a father of two children with special needs, was inspired by the discovery of local merchants and providers who can provide products and services but do not advertise this information. With rising gas prices, growing unemployment, and most products and services for special needs advertised online to save costs; it was too easy to be lured to those outside the community, paying more for the convenience. Robert’s families’ needs were impacted by reductions in social spending, and less public assistance, along with less available local information.
