Amnesia blocks both the past and the future

London, Jan 16: Amnesia is usually associated with not being able to remember events in the past, but researchers have now found that people with the disorder also have difficulty imagining events in the future with detail and emotion, thereby adding to the theory that recollections help people create a picture the future.
