Washington, Jan 11 : In the longest ever trial conducted for renal cell carcinoma (RCC), or kidney cancer, the drug Nexavar (sorafenib), has been found to double the average progression-free survival (PFS) in patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC), or kidney cancer.
